Co-ed Golf – JV
The Derryfield Golf team has a long tradition of success, with many state titles. Two years ago we captured second place in the state, and our division has become more competitive each year. The Golf team focuses on fundamentals, etiquette, and playing the game with grace. Our home course is Candia Woods Golf Links in Candia, NH. The Varsity squad consists of the top six players who compete in matches. The Junior Varsity squad consists of all other interested players who practice. As a combined team, we hope to continue the tradition of skilled golf and sportsmanship at Derryfield.
Meet Our Coach
Coach Leonard
Tim Leonard, Head Coach
Tim came to New Hampshire in his sophomore year of High School in 1968 and found a home here ever since. He was fortunate to be a two sport star in basketball and baseball at Bishop Brady High School and was named to the Catholic High School Hall Of Fame in 2008. He also played Henry J Sweeney Post #2 American Legion Baseball and was selected to go to the American Legion World Series in 1970 ibn Klamath Falls, Oregon. From 1988 to 1992 he was an assistant JV basketball at Central High School in Manchester, NH. Recently Coach Leonard retired from a 32 year career in the United States Postal service and has served as our JV golf coach since 2023.
