The NH Department of Education announced on April 18 that Avishant Gupta Ullal ‘25 is one of six New Hampshire seniors named as a semifinalist in the 2025 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. Ullal joins an elite group of students from throughout the nation who are being recognized for their outstanding achievements in academics, leadership, the arts, school and communit involvement, and career and technical fields.
“I am thrilled to celebrate this incredible group of seniors who have gone above and beyond in their high school journeys,” said Commissioner Frank Edelblut of the New Hampshire Department of Education. “These students have stood out not only for their academic excellence, but also for their creativity, leadership and dedication across the arts and career and technical education programs. Their energy, talent and hard work make them outstanding representatives of New Hampshire, and we’re proud to see them recognized as semifinalists for such a prestigious program.”
The Commission on Presidential Scholars will select the finalists, and the U.S. Department of Education will announce the Scholars at a later date.
