Derryfield Announces New Chef

The Derryfield School, which feeds their students, faculty and staff each day from the newly-built Matarese Commons, welcomed Chef Christopher Blaquiere on December 9. Blaquiere comes to Derryfield with eleven years of experience, including five years as a banquet sous chef for the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts chain. Most recently he was an executive chef, working in Nashua at BAE Systems as an employee of the Sodexo Corporation. 

Blaquiere is a New Hampshire native, and lives in Derry with his wife and three young children. When he isn’t working, he enjoys hiking in the mountains with his family and their dog. He also cooks for pleasure–something his family truly enjoys!
